3D Capture4E, a company dedicated to geometric capture techniques, born out of the joint initiative of Meditex SL and Gavle, both companies with large experience in the sectors of topography, cartography, photogrammetry and laser scanner, which join forces to develop new 3D meassuring projects which are applied to numerous fields such as industry, civil works, town planning or heritage. Through the development and creation of photogrammetric software and hardware 4E aims to offer a wide and dynamic service with international scope. The use and management of three-dimensional information introduces 4E in fields such as virtual reality or augmented reality, thus trying to reach to an increasing number of users through new technologies.
The philosophy of 4E can be summed up in a sentence: Natural 3D rEvolution. This idea springs from the fusion of two concepts, evolution and revolution. Evolution understood as the development or transformation of ideas or theories, and revolution understood as the rapid and deep change in anything. Therefore, the 4E philosophy tries to become a real alternative to 3D as it used to be regarded. In order to achieve this, 4E has used the scientific and ideological investment in research and development of hardware, software as well as new methods of 3D capture and work. 4E aims to simplify work, consequently making easier the access to technology for everyone, without renouncing quality.
4E is a company, the growth of which is entirely based on the research and development of its own hardware and software technology. Private investement in science, especially in the fields of photogrammetry, laser scanner and computer vision, helps to develop the projects of 4E, so that is possible to offer quality service and the highest technology to the costumers, without losing simplicity. The 4E Capture Laboratory is born out of the sinergies of the creating companies and an almost unproductive wish to create top quality and innovative products. The 4E laboratory of research is totally open to external collaboration, always in search of new ideas.
